History

The Lighthouse Christian Counseling and Outreach Center, Inc. {DBA-LCCOC} was founded in San Diego, California, by Chaplain/Overseer Melveena D. Edwards, Ph.D. on February 1, 2001 (incorporated on February 8, 2001), and exists as a California State and federal (IRS) 501 (c) (3) religious nonprofit corporation. The organization's mission is to provide service to the community, nation, and world in the areas of Biblical counsel and Christ-centered outreach entities. LCCOC's vision is demonstrated through the commitment to the "spirit of excellence," primarily in three basic areas: Christian counseling, worldwide Christian education, and outreach.

Within the core divisions and entities of the Lighthouse Christian Counseling and Outreach Center, Inc. people will come to know more about Jesus as their source, light, compass, strength, and way.
